While going through this list I started to wonder how they made this list?! I really do not understand the books on here. Some are not really surprising at all, but there are some that I would never have expected on here!
So I’ve read 36/100! Which was actually more then I had expected haha! My thought on those are really diverse ahah. There is one that I DNF’ed, some that I really didn’t like but also quite some of my faves!
Also 23 are on my TBR! Some of those are really high on my TBR, others are more like ‘someday’!
You had me at Eye of the World being one of your favorite books
Have you read it?
Such an odd list lol. I’ve read 41 of these! Given that so many are recent, that’s probably why I’ve read so many lol. 🙂
Yeah I think I mainly read the newer books as well!
These kind of lists are always so interesting to me! I’ve only read 24, and some of them I’ve never even heard of! There are a lot of great ones on there, and if you ever feel the urge, The Bone Clocks by David Mitchell is absolutely incredible!
The Bone Clocks is one of the ones I never heard about before ahah, but I will definitely look into it!
Hmm, interesting list – good mix of classics and newer titles, but so many I’ve never even heard of . . . and it irks me when trilogies are broken up, taking 3 spots in a list.
Looks like 20 read for me and another 15 on the TBR.
I agree, series should be put on there as a whole, giving more books/series a chance to get on here!
What a fun idea for a post! I was so happy to see how diverse the list got as we moved into more recent publications.
Same! I was so happy certain books were included!
Ooh, this was really interesting! If I didn’t miscount, I’ve read 32 of these (and I’m about to read The Dragon Republic, making it 33) 🙂 Seeing some of these books actually made me feel quite nostalgic, since I read them all the way back in elementary school! Though I’m also very curious as to how they made this list… Like, why are there two Harry Potter books on here, but not the first one? Or the fifth one? Or all of them, for that matter? xD And who decided on the order?
I recounted like three times haha!
Same! I totally forgot about some!
I was thinking the same thing about Harry Potter, I think they should just have put the series on there as a whole (just taking one spot)!
It looks like I have read 40 and many of them are on my TBR. It is an interesting list. There are quite a few I have never heard of and why list some books in a series but not all? Anyways, fun post!
Oh quite many!
Yeah quite some I did not know either..
I think they should just list series on one spot! And indeed not randomly one middle book in a series!
There is such a wide variety of fantasy on this list. I agree with you, not sure how they determined what to put on it!
I was happy to see the variety!
I wish they explained the list haha
It would be cool to see how they determined what to put on it!

Yeah I had the same! Happy to see both old and new, but so many I do not know..
Exactly! Just list book one, or the whole series..
I hope you will like the ones you still have on you TBR!
