Last week I posted 10 mysteries I really want to read, this week I will talk about 10 middle grades I really want to pick up! Apparently I have a lot of middle grades I’m interested in, so I guess I should pick them up more often.
The problem is just that if I have to choose between an Adult epic fantasy and a Middle Grade, Adult fantasy wins 90% of the time..! I guess I should read some middle grades in between since they are easier for my brain haha, then I can mentally prepare for a harder read!
This list was hard to narrow down, but here we go:

- Wizards of Once by Cressida Cowell – I’ve already read book one, but want to read the rest of the series!
- Amari and the Night Brothers by BB Alston – This one got so much hype las year, I’m very curious, I also own a copy so nothing can stop me haha
- City of Rust by Gemma Fowler – That cover!!
- Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend – I’m actually up to date with this series, but I cannot wait for the fourth book later this year!
- Alanna: The First Adventure by Tamora Pierce – I really want to read something by Tamora Pierce and this looks like a great place to start!
- The Mystery of Black Hollow Lane by Julia Nobel – I love middle grade mysteries!
- The Highland Falcon Thief by MG Leonard – Another mystery one!
- The Polar Bear Explorers Club by Alex Bell – I’ve read the two books, which I really enjoyed, so I need to move onto the next three!
- The Strangeworlds Travel Agency by LD Lapinski – This looks like so much fun!
- A Wolf for a Spell by Karah Sutton – Another amazing cover!

There are so many more I want to read, or series I need to continue on with!
I need to read more middle grade books, too! I’m so excited to finally pick up the Nevermoor series this year 🙂 I hope you enjoy these when you read them!
Thanks! Nevermoor is so good, I cannot wait for the fourth book!
I loved The Mystery of Black Hollow Lane. It’s so good! I need to pick up book 2. Hope you enjoy all of these. 🙂
Ooh I didn´t know it has a sequel! More to read then!
Same here. I need to read more middle grade too because I have a lot I’d like to read. Nevermoor is totally worth it, and Alanna is more YA but worth it too.
There are so many good ones!
I’ve read Nevermoor, I’m impatiently waiting for the next one!
I have The Polar Bears Explorer Club on my tbr! I just borrowed a middle grade book from my library called The Keeper. They are fun to read!
I really enjiyed the first two of the Polar Bears!
I have a couple of these still on my TBR too. I loved Amari, Nevermoor, and A Wolf for a Spell (this is a perfect winter read I think). Hope you enjoy them all!
Ooh makes me more excited to pick them up!
