What I thought:
This book was interesting from the start!
The first third of the book was quite predictable since it was all already written on the back of the book.. But the rest of the book was really interesting and had lots of unexpected turns! In the ending we learn who/what every one actually is and I did not predict it at all, so I really liked that!
I love books in school setting so this book was perfect for that! I was also a big fan of the ‘group’ of the main character, Call, Tamara and Aaron!
Also the narrator of the audiobook is really good and really fitted the main character.
The only negative thing I have to say is that the ending was a bit confusing and I’m still not sure if I totally understand it haha.
But even though I enjoyed so much of this book I still can’t give it a higher rating than 3 stars, I just did not feel ‘WOW’ about this book. I can not really pinpoint what it was, it just feels like something was missing. It felt a bit like a easy book, but maybe that’s also because it’s middle grade.
I will continue this series!
Advise for:
For people who, like me, enjoy school settings! Also for people who like middle grade novels. And I definitely recommend the audiobook!
