- Nominate 11 new blogs to receive the award and write them 11 new questions.

Laurel’s questions:
Why did you start book blogging?
Because I want to share my love for reading! And be more involved in the blogging community 🙂
What are your favourite parts of book blogging?
Kinda already said that, but the community! Such a cliché answer, but I love interacting with other bloggers!
What are your least favourite?
100% on myself, but how stressed it makes me sometimes.. Since I post every day, I sometimes feel like I can’t skip a day. Even though I know no one will get angry if I skip a day, if people even notice haha!

What advice do you have for new book bloggers?
Make posts you love writing yourself! And comment on other blogs!
What makes you want to read a book?
I get really influenced by what I hear from others haha! If someone keeps talking about a book, chances are high I will check it out, without even knowing what it is about! Well often I know the genre, if it is really outside of my normal reading, I probably won’t.
But also author, cover, if the synopsis makes me want to read it immediately!
What were your favourite reads of 2019?
Warbreaker, Do you dream of Terra Two?, Crown of feathers! See my full list here!
What were your least favourites?
A curse so dark and lonely and There will come a darkness! Again full list here!

What books lived up to the hype? Which didn’t?
The gilded wolves by Roshani Choski! I loved that book.
Ninth house by Leigh Bardugo, didn’t live up to the hype at all for me, I even DNF’ed this..
What are your favourite tropes?
Enemies to lovers! Often I also really enjoy the chosen one trope, but it is a bit overdone sometimes.
Who in the book world inspires you the most?
Eeh, hard one!
Joanna @TheGeekishBrunette by the amount of reading that she does!
Marie @Drizzleandhurricanebooks because of her great discussions!
Ariel Bissett on BookTube!
What is one book that helped you through rough times?
I guess Harry Potter can help me through a lot!

Charlotte’s questions:
What book, if any, would you most love to see a prequel of?
Eeh, mind is blank.. Maybe for the arc of a scythe series by Neal Shusterman!
What were/are your favourite and least favourite subjects at school?
I’m going for high school subjects here, because my classes now are very specific haha!
Favourite: Math! I loved my math classes!
Least favourite: History.. Which I guess you can also see in my reading, if there is too many (real) history involved, a book loses my interest.
What’s your favourite film that was released in 2019?
Eeh, I’m not big on movies.. I think the amount that I went to the cinema is countable on one hand haha..
I’m pretty sure The Hate U give released in 2019 in Europe? (I definitely watched in 2019) Then I would go for that one!

What fairytale character would you be willing to trade places with?
I think snow white!
What inspired you to start blogging?
Kinda already answered this, but my love for reading! Also I needed something to do in my free time :p
What’s one piece of advice that you think new bloggers should know?
Again already did ahah! But new one: don’t stress about it, you do it because you love to do it!
If you could meet anyone, past or present, who would it be and why?
Honestly can’t come up with anyone..
What’s your favourite lesser known, or talked about, book?
Dresscodes for small towns by Courntey C Stevens!

Which fictional character do you most admire?
Generally characters who know what they want and they go for it. Even better, if they are not perfect while doing it! maybe Mia from Nevernight, characters from Illuminae, Siri and Vivenna from Warbreaker!
What generally beloved character gets under your skin?
Really didn’t like the characters from A darker shade of magic..
What are your goals for 2020?
I don’t have that many, but you can find my post about it here!

Sorry for taking forever to read this (I was taking a break from blogging) but I loved reading your answers to everything (: I love enemies to lovers too I get influenced by others hyping books up too it’s kind of hard not to want to read a book when you see it mentioned everywhere.
I still need to read the Scythe series but it sounds super interesting and I love your answer for the characters that you admire (:
That’s okay, sometimes you need a break!
Scythe is one of my faves, I hope you get to it at some point!
Great answers! I love your advice. I think it’s important to remember to write what we love because why else do this? 🙂
Exactly!
Loved reading your answers to these 🙂 Thanks for the tag !!
Thanks! No problem 🙂
Great answers! Also, I might notice if you skipped days of blogging, but I also understand because I blog every day as well and sometimes you just need a little bit of a break to relax and recuperate.
It can be tiring haha, but also I love doing it!
Great answers!
Thanks!
Congrats on the award!
Thanks 🙂
