I donβt know why, but this was a tiring week haha, even though it only had 4 working days! Spent most of the weekend reading, so that is always a good thing! And apparently I watched quite some movies this week π
What I read this week (books with * have a review coming!):
An Echo of Things to Come* β James Islington β 3 stars! Finished this right after the last update haha
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows β JK Rowling (audio, reread) β 5 stars! Really glad I reread these on audio! Stephen Fry has such a good reading voice!
All the Wandering Light* β Heather Fawcett β 3 stars! Enjoyed this one, but I liked the first book better!
The Dark Lord Clementine* β Sarah Jean Horwitz (ARC) β 3 stars! This was okay?! I donβt have many thoughts about this one haha
Frostheart 2* β Jamie Littler – 4 stars! This is such a fun series, I flew thruogh this one, can’t wait for the last book later this year!

What Iβm currently reading:
Children of Time β Adrian Tchaikovsky β Iβm about halfway through, and really loving it!
Educated β Tara Westover (audio) β So interesting! Also, this book is way heavier to read then I had expected!

Blog posts:
Top Five Tuesday β Books you wish you could read for the first time again
Books I bought/received:
None!
What I watched:
Avengers: Endgame
Captain Marvel (Now Iβm almost up to date with the Marvel movies! Wanted to watch Spiderman: Far From Home as well, but it disappeared from Netflix..)
The One β Season 1, episode 1 & 2 β Decided not to continue with this, donβt think it is for me.
The Grand Budapest Hotel
Onward
It looks like you had a great reading week! And I agree, Stephen Fry is awesome – but I actually love the Harry Potter audiobooks narrated by Jim Dale even more π Though those were also the ones I grew up with, so it might be the nostalgia, haha.
And Educated took me by surprise as well! I ended up really loving it especially since it also got darker at times.
Maybe I should listen to a sample of that one haha! Nostalgia can definitely help haha
Ooh posted that too quickly! I feel weird saying that I’m loving educated, because of the story, but I do as well!
I’m listening to an audiobook with Stephen Fry as narrator right now, and I agree, he’s amazing! And I guess we have a lot in common right now, because I’ve been watching lots of Marvel too — my son and I decided to watch all the MCU movies in release order (even though we’ve seen them all before), and we’ve gotten through the first Avengers movie so far. It’s really fun to watch them this way! Hope you have a great week.
I need to look into more Stephen Fry audiobooks!
I also watched them in release order haha! I only have one left, but it took me almost a year to watch them all haha!
Hope you have a great week as well!
How’s Educated? Is it disturbing to read?
Definitely harder to read then I had expected! Lots of emotional (and physical) abuse! It is just weird to imagine that people think like this! But it is very interesting!
It’s a shame that Dark Lord Clementine was just a 3 star read! Happy reading. β€
Yeah it was just okay to me!
Happy reading!
